Again, the same story

  Yesterday, we moved to Ottawa from Toronto to do some consular (Sefarati) affairs. In this country, you encounter (Movajeh) many interesting situations that some of them appears to be pleasant (Khoshaayand) for you and some turn out to be so disappointing (Na khoshayand). Our trip to Iranian embassy (Sefaarat) was one of those interesting events, which will stay in our minds for a long time. I was going to Ottawa to separate my passport from my father. In Western countries, or I can say all sophisticated (Pishrafte) countries, you will not find many paperwork( Kaghaz Bazi). Everything is quite straightforward and easy to proceed. In these countries, there is something, which is called “Law” defining all the aspects of life. Nobody is above law.

Anyways, we drove 500 km to Ottawa and arrived there 9 O’clock in the morning. They opened the door at 9:10. My father has brought all the possible documents with him. Everything was in order and ready. There were about 10 people in the line and there was a young guy aged about 25 sitting over there. He sounded really hostile (Bad Barkhord) for some reasons. Maybe he had not get enough sleep last night. He was talking to everyone really badly. Saying “NO” to everyone was his style. (Again, for all these people in the line, they had put one person to respond). My father submitted all the documents. “You know what? You do not have the PR card and your wife’s signatures do not match. We can not ( Ejraa) precede your inquiry,” he responded very rudely. That was really interesting. I can say if you even go to American embassy, they would not treat (Raftaar) you in such way.

I do not know what to say. Sometimes, I think that these Canadian people are not Muslim but they practicing Islam hundred times more than us. Management is a blank spot in our dear country, Iran. Some people are sitting in places that they do not deserve(Shayeste) it. God help us to practice Islam correctly.
