The Man Who Said No to Death

In the name of the creator of the hope

It is for a while that I am thinking about the hope. I really consider (Dar Nazar) the hope as God’s gift (Hadiye). Sometimes when I am really hopeless (Na Omid) about a subject, I think about Lance Armstrong. The story of his life is unbelievable (Ba Var Nakardani). I recount (Bazgoo) his story, first for myself and then for the others, to see what hope can do. Born on September 18, 1971, Lance was a natural athlete (Varzesh kar). As he says, he was born to race (Randan) the bicycles. At age 16, he was selected by U.S. Olympic team to be trained (Amozesh) in Colorado during his last year at high school. In 1991, he became the U.S. National Amateur Champion (Ghahreman), and, the next year, finished 14th in the  Olympic Games in Barcelona, Spain.  In 1995, he won the Tour Du Pont, one of the most difficult competitions (Reghabat) in the United States. What about the Tour De France (Dore Farance) competition (Reghabat) that is the most important competition in the world after Olympic???Yes, he ended up (Tamoom Kard) as the 18th in this important world wide (Jahani) competition. Many people called him “The Golden Boy of American Cycling”.

Lance ArmstrongIn 1996, Lance got very bad, sad and terrible news in his entire (Tamame) life. The doctors told him that he has
Testicular (Beyze) cancer (Sarataan). As a world wide champion (Ghahremaan), he could not believe that he will die.  The doctors told him that the chance to survive (Zende Mandan) is fifthy sifthy . He went under chemotherapy (Shimi Darmani) that destroyed most of his muscles (Maahiche) and body. He had three operations (Jarrahi) to get a better chance to live. During the entire operations, Lance continued to race on the bicycle. He never lost his hope. He missed (Az Dast Dad) the 1997 cycling competitions, but he decided in 1998 to return to racing (Mosabeghe Dadan). He really said a big NO to death and he came back again. In 1998, he came back to Paris to race in the Tour Da France that is  the second most important competition in the world after the Olympic and he knew that well. He won the race, Tour De France, by being the first person passing the finish line. Now, he prepares (Amade) himself for 2004 Olympic. Lance is a person who really said no to death. He says, “If you say yes, God will say yes to."o
